Doctor dresses as a homeless man, wanders the streets giving free health care to the destitute

Dr. Jim Withers spends his evenings on the streets of Pittsburgh bringing free medical help to the impoverished. If this were how he spent an occasional weekend, it would be a beautiful story, but it’s better than that. He’s out there five nights a week, dressed so as to not stand out and carrying a backpack of simple medicines and medical equipment.

Since 1992, he has served over 25,000 homeless.
