he fact that I'm a female that likes sports often comes as a surprise to many people. When they find out that I only listen to sports talk radio and watch baseball, you would think I told them I was the first person to walk on the moon (to be clear, I was not.)
That's to say that I'm not exactly the target demographic for publications like ESPN the Magazine, whose readership is predominantly male and fueled by testosterone. That's why when the publication recently released its 2017 Body Issue cover stars — NFL running back Zeke Elliott and Danish tennis champion Caroline Wozniacki — all hell broke loose.
Their cover debuts came in the form of a GIF, as you can see here with Elliot.
As you can also see, dude is naked.
He’s not dancing around flashing the world his footballs, but it was enough to cause the males of Twitter to get their own whitey tighteys in a bunch.
Thanks for the clarification.
“SPORTS. THE S STANDS FOR SPORTS. NOT STRIPPERS.”
After breakfast? Sure.
“Didn’t need to see this before breakfast.”
Tell us how you really feel.
“ESPN is straight garbage now.”
CONFUSION! A NAKED MAN!
“What the hell?”
But remember that there were two covers, so let’s take a look at the other one, shall we?
