I like the “thinking out of the box” but does this really have much advantage over a regular shelf?
Very cool design though, and again, I love the innovation. Maybe it will spark another idea of some sort that is even better.

    1. helen says:

Well, if you needed to store it, it stores easily and doesn’t take up much space, which is important for say, city living. And I suppose it wouldn’t take up much space in transport, which is pretty environmentally friendly, but other than that, I’d say it wouldn’t have tons of advantages.

  2. Mary says:

My bookshelves are piled high. Don’t think it would work for me. But it does look interesting. If you had this, you’d have to find “interesting” books to display too.

  3. Doreen Miller says:

I love it! I especially like the red. I live in a small space and am challenged about how to display books. I think that this could be a great solution.

  4. AmyCat says:

Another example of form over function. It may be decorative, but what a lousy way to shelve books! It would very likely damage the covers of any books kept in it for long, thanks to the uneven pressure placed on them.

If this were offered for sale, it would probably be outrageously expensive. I’d get a more useful bookshelf spending $30 at Ikea.
