Remarkable women. A moment of impatience at 2:53 when the interpreter rolls her eyes a little because Ms. Keller talks over her.

I know a family of deaf people, whose grandmother first and then the father suffered macular degeneration in addition to their deafness. They have to communicate this same way, by signing into each other’s hands. It’s incredible to watch.

I never tire of the story of Helen Keller and her wonderful care person Anne Sullivan. What a miraculous story of a tragic begining and beautiful life. This was very awesome. Thank you so much

I have a speech impediment and it is a frustration beyond words not to be able to convey a thought. I wouldn’t need to be told that I have this impediment. It is obvious when I am asked to repeat or if I am just ignored! Don’t take the gift of speech for granted! Don’t over-use it but utilize it!
