    Corporate worship songs have simple and familiar chord structures so that they’re easy to learn and sing. No one who writes them thinks they’re masterful art. Songs for corporate worship serve a purpose, so they are intentionally simple.

      This mindset is very condescending to the congregation. Can’t expect too much from the masses, I guess. Nothing too complicated for them, let’s K.I.S.S. I think that songs should be written that will be remembered because they are epic and actually sound like the reality they are about.
