his is going to be a controversial opinion and I don't mean to stir the pot, but if you were to mess with my dog, I wouldn't be afraid to bust out some of the kickboxing moves I've perfected in my living room while doing a DVD and cursing at the instructor.
And I'm not even a celebrity, unless you count being known to neighbors as "crazy girl who talks to who sings Beyonce to squirrels in her backyard" as being famous.
I do not.
But Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is famous.
In fact, one might even say ridiculously famous, which I can imagine has both its upside and it’s crap side.
On the one hand, tons of money and basically the freedom to not have to clip coupons for your favorite brand of toilet paper.
On the other hand, you have much less privacy than the average every day, singing-to-squirrels person.
J-Law was recently in a very scary situation when she literally almost died.
A private plane carrying the actress made an emergency landing in New York after experiencing double-engine failure.
Not just one engine, but two.
After leaving Louisville, Ky., where she spent time with her family, one of the plane’s engines went out while cruising at an altitude of 31,000 feet. When the plane made an emergency landing, it lost the second engine.
Thankfully she made it out okay, but needless to say, girl has no time for talking to people from TMZ.
That was made abundantly clear when she was leaving Los Angeles International Airport, as she kept her head down and ignored the paparazzi around her.
But her little dog Pippi went in the other direction and the man from TMZ offered his hand for the dog to sniff, probably thinking that buttering up to the pooch might get J-Law to talk.
Here was her thought process:
Because yes, that got her to talk, but not really what he was hoping for.
Needless to say, she was less than thrilled, as you can see here.
Now a lot of people think she was really rude, and to some extent, of course she was. But you’ve probably never had a camera shoved in your face 24/7 while being barraged by questions you’ve probably been asked 1,000 times in the past week.
Plus, everyone knows you don’t pet someone’s dog without asking the owner.
Especially if it’s owned by Jennifer Lawrence.
