February 4, 2013 | By Abraham | 6 comments

Back in 2006, before he was as big of a star as he is now, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was approached by a couple paparazzi who ignored his request to be left alone. So he took out his camera and videotaped them.

The conversation they had went from an ornery altercation to an honest (though not friendly) back-and-forth…

It’s funny how the sense of entitlement celebrities are accused of is quite often a mirror of the sense of entitlement that those that make there living off of following them around have.

Truthfully I don’t blame the photographers I blame the idiots that by the rag sheets they sell their photos too.

  2. D Smith says:

My favorite part is when JGL suggest that paparazzi introduce themselves and nicely ask to take pictures. I paraphrase:

Paparazzi: I don’t think that’s been done since La Dolce Vita. Who directed that?
    JGL: Fellini
    Paparazzi: Who?

  3. Kandi says:

Although it isn’t known if JGL was being rude before he started recording, I was still appalled by the behavior of the paparazzi. If celebrities are your bread and butter, don’t you think it would be smarter to keep your mouth shut and just take pictures? Seriously, telling a celeb (of whom you JUST took a picture, btw) that he’s not as famous as someone like Nicole Kidman maybe wasn’t the smartest comment you’ve ever made. Just sayin’.

  4. Broom says:

As a photographer , I can not personally stand the Paparazzi…. None of the photos they take are art , and I do not see the point in harassing others simply because they are famous
