I literally laughed out loud at this and then showed it to my female co-workers. We all had a good laugh and as one co-worker said, “ohh…that reminds me, I got to shave before this weekend (V-Day weekend).”

So thanks for the laugh and for the reminder for some of us. :)

  2. Joy says:

It’s missing two very important question:
Are you dating/with someone? –> No — > Let it grow!

If Yes –> Is he likely to see or touch your legs? –> No –> You can get away without a shave (unless your guess isn’t accurate).

If Yes –> Better shave AND apply lotion.

  3. Michelle Ray says:

I’ve always thought this line of thinking is bizarre. Im married– so I shave 7x/week. For him. Enough said.

  4. Ralph Haygood says:

Speaking as a cat (okay, I’m not really a cat, but I have strong feline tendencies), I feel that females should have furry legs. It reassures me that they don’t have mange.

  5. Kathleen Keene says:

I don’t see the point of shaving. I think women do it because of peer/social pressure, because it sure didn’t happen 100 years ago! We are meant to look like grown ups, adults, not children.

  6. kim says:

@Kathleen forms of hair removal have been around for much longer than a hundred years. It is usually begun at the time of puberty or marriage for a variety of religious, cultural and/or sanitary reasons and not always just by women.

I agree with the sanitary remark! I am in a long term relationship, I DO shave of course, but not for him. If I want to remain hairy then he has to deal with it! I am quite stubbly at the moment as I was FAR too hungover to deal with the problem yesterday, and am yet to have my morning shower today :P

That being said, I just don’t feel clean if I stay hairy for too long.. I like the feeling of being smooth, even though I wear long trousers more often than not, so I guess I do it for myself. I actually believe that MEN should shave too! I cannot stand bodily hair on anyone – even men.
