Man wins contest, thanks voters with hilarious video of 52 animal impressions using household objects

Several months ago, Keir Moffatt entered a Facebook competition. The contest simply required fans to leave a comment offering tips for working from home, and his tip won the prize, a $150 Apple gift card, with 52 likes.

Moffatt’s tip was pretty simple:

Get up earlier to take advantage of the period of time in the morning when most other people are still commuting to work.

It’s a wonderfully tranquil time of the day for processing emails, planning your day, and reading up on your industry – all without the inevitable disruption and interruption that comes with 9am.

Equally, if you have kids, use your earlier start to finish earlier too and have more time with your family in the evening :)

To say thanks for his victory, he took requests for animal impressions and put together a video of himself doing an animal impression for each like, which undoubtedly cost him more time and money than he made with the $150 gift card he’d won.

Animal Impressions

From the bizarre axolotl to the extinct veliciraptor to the common frog, Moffatt hilariously mimicked 52 different animals, complete with costumes, face paint, and — yes — sound effects…

Thanks for posting my video – and special thanks for taking the time to work out the time codes. I’ve added them to the video description on YouTube and linked to twentytwowords.com :)
