Mom turns toddler’s ink sketches into fantastic watercolor paintings

Artist Ruth Oosterman spends hours drawing with her 2-year-old daughter Eve, who uses a black ink pen to create her imaginative works of art…

When going through Eve’s sketches one day, Ruth realized the drawings could create a foundation for watercolor paintings that Ruth would never have dreamed of on her own. She tells Bored Panda,

I try to work quickly and let imagination and play take root into the painting rather than taking it too seriously, this way I can encourage Eve’s contribution without making it too “grownup.”
