We all know moms are amazing.
They raised us, clothed us, they make us their secret mac and cheese recipe every time we come home.
They may occasionally bother us or point out that blue just "isn't your color" at unwanted times, but for the most part, moms are one of the most important people in our lives.
All moms are basically superheroes, but some moms may actually have legit superhuman powers.
These incredible moms show us that motherhood should come with a cape.
Mom Jes of Kansas gave birth to her son... in the middle of a hospital hallway.
Jes and her husband rushed to the hospital at 3am when Jes realized Max was coming fast. According to Jes on her birth photographer’s website, her husband sped past two red lights trying to get to the hospital in time as Jes was starting to deliver right there in the car.
They got there just in time to get Jes out of the car and into the hospital, but Max made a dramatic entrance only seconds later in the middle of the hospital hallway.
Nurses rushed to Jes’ aide and together with the help of her husband, Jes delivered Max right there on the floor, and her birth photographer caught the whole thing on film.
Do moms like Jes really have superpowers that enable them to do things like just causally deliver a human being on the floor of a hospital?
It’s debatable, but most of us non-moms can barely handle getting a shot in an actual doctor’s office, much less give birth in a corridor.
Luckily, Maxwell was healthy and the birth didn't have any complications. A compilation of all the amazing photos of his birth are below.
Besides, of course, a hell of a job for the cleaning crew of that hospital.
This mom of three saved all of her children from a house fire and suffered burns over half her body.
Angel Fiorini woke to find her house engulfed in flames in October of 2016. Her three kids, aged 2, 4, and 8 were inside with her. She rushed to their rooms and pulled the youngest two outside to safety. But Gianna, the 8 year old, was still inside.
Fiorini wasn't going to wait for the fire department to get there to save her daughter.
She rushed back into the house and carried Gianna outside, suffering life-threatening burns in the process. Gianna, although badly burned, survived.
