Thanks for that link! Sadly, this is exactly what some in my family consume as snack food. My bro will especially get a laugh out of it. I think he’s made that all bacon sandwich a few times.

There’s the whole turducken thing, though maybe that’s too high-falutin’ for this inquiry.

Then there’s this, which goes in an annoyingly nutritious and self-consciously gourmet direction, so maybe it doesn’t count:

Cute for the first two seconds you look at it, then you think about actually eating one. Bleah.

But I really want that Iowa pitcher.

Anyone ever had chocolate gravy and biscuits? Delicious, buttery biscuits and thick, homemade chocolate gravy… so, so good!

    1. Dianne says:

I’d never heard of that. Is there a difference between chocolate gravy and regular old chocolate (or fudge) sauce?

Iowa representing with the bacon pancakes. Which isn’t surprising since the Iowa State Fair has the most heart-stoppingly spectacular culinary combos all in one place– and all on sticks. I must admit being partial to the fried oreos.
