His holiness, Pope Francis – aka the coolest pope since well, ever - has a much documented problem with wind. The moment he steps up to give a speech on such holy virtues as being chill with your neighbor and not double-dipping your chips, up puffs the wind to blow off his skull cap and ruin the line of his pellegrina (which as it turns out, is what that white cape he wears is called).
The pope was giving a speech recently when the wind played havoc with his cape. The results were... startling, to say the least.
And the memes, of course, were immediate. People remarked that he looked like a raptor from the Jurassic Park franchise with his billowing pellegrina, specifically the dilophosaurus, as it is portrayed in the film.
Unfortunately for budding meme-sters everywhere, Jurassic Park’s dilophosaurus design is highly inaccurate. Raptor Pope actually looks like a frilled-neck lizard, a species of lizard mainly found in Australia and New Zealand, which, unfortunately, does not spit venom. It is very feisty though, and will not hesitate to charge if provoked.
