Russell Brand on drugs

Apr 25, 2012 By Abraham 9

I think what there needs to be is love and compassion…not simply out of some airy-fairy, let’s-all-hold-hands-and-hug liberalism, but because it deals with the problem and because it prevents further crime from being committed.

I like him. It is nice to see/hear someone with some good sense speaking as a man dressed in a sleeveless with gold chains in a room full of suits.

  2. sawilhelm says:

Good watch! Although I was expecting something else when I saw the title “Russell Brand on drugs.” :P

  3. Marci says:

That’s probably the most intelligent thing I’ve ever heard him say.
And I’m really split, I can’t decide if his appearance helps or hurts his cause.

  4. Beth says:

Wow, I never knew he’s as intelligent as he sounds in this video. Maybe it’s how he’s always cast in movies. I’m impressed. Go Russell Brand!

    1. Marc says:

If you watch his stand-up comedy you can get a sense of his intelligence as well. He is definitely more than what he seems to be in films.

  5. Patrick says:

If you get a chance to watch his show “Brand X”, it is exactly this kind of sharp, educated wit that always surprises me. Seems like the US media has branded him only as Katy Perry’s buffoonish, drug using ex. So not true.

  6. Satyva says:

Hold on.. I’m American and me and my hubby have done no such thing. We think he is intelligent and always have. If people don’t see that in his humor they aren’t getting half of it. Stop judging all of America by “The Jersey Shore.”

  7. valerie says:

Russell is as smart as they come. He is a genius and kind and I bleieve as spiritual as one could hope to be . I have seen him in concert and followed his career ( don;t see his movies) the world is a better place because he made it to the other side of drug addiction.
