First, we found out that Seth MacFarlane made a pointed joke about Harvey Weinstein's behavior at the Oscars in 2013. We were pretty surprised.
Then, we learned that MacFarlane made a joke about Kevin Spacey's predatory actions in an episode of Family Guy way back in 2005. We were shocked.
Now, it appears MacFarlane has gone for some kind of weird hat trick. Apparently, there was another prescient Family Guy joke — this time, it was about Brett Ratner.
As the general public has learned over the past few months, there are a lot of open secrets among the Hollywood elite.
And so did Seth MacFarlane, apparently. Only he didn’t keep quiet about it. He addressed it with a joke at the 2013 Oscars.
It seems like MacFarlane may have made a similar "joke" about director Brett Ratner. Watch the clip here:
The clip from a 2012 episode of Family Guy shows a scantily-clad Stewie dancing in some kind of sex slave auction.
A bid comes in for $75,000 and the auctioneer says, “Thank you, Brett Ratner.”
In case you missed it, Brett Ratner is one of the men who has recently been accused of sexual assault and harassment.
Six women, including actress Olivia Munn, have come forward with allegations against Ratner.
He forced women to perform oral sex on him and masturbated in front of them.
So yeah. Super gross.
OK, but seriously. What else does this guy know?
Is it time to go through every episode of Family Guy with a fine-toothed comb?
Maybe not, but we’ll definitely be paying a lot more attention to MacFarlane after this.
