        Matthew 24

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Yup, that’s probably going to work. Because it wasn’t your Lord that caused this disaster, right?

        Romans 8

22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

The world is suffering -precisely because- it is cursed by all the evil acts people are doing.

Yes, it was caused by Divine Intervention in the form of punishment.

amazing pic, but I don’t think it is the same location in both pics. the street to the right is different. there is clearly a corner in the first pic and not in the second pic. maybe a different angle?

      1. Dianne says:

I think it could be the same street. The photographer of the “after” shot is standing a little farther up the street, so the corner is to his or her right and a little behind, out of the frame. The person in the picture could be standing at the end of that first driveway on the right (or one of the other driveways), not at the corner of the street. In any case, does it matter? Lord have mercy.

      2. SMN says:

Does it really matter? This photo shows complete and total devastation of a town & rather than expressing concern for all the people who lived in the homes that are now reduced to splinters, we’re going to over analyze whether the photo location is precise and exact?!? People never cease to amaze me.

Simply unreal. Looks worse than a war zone! I live in the state of AL, and this is no worse than Phil Campbell or Tuscaloosa after the 4/27 storms. But…bad!!

  3. Johnny Nielsen says:

damm that is just unbelivebel I live in Denmark and I pray for all the famelys that have lost there love ones and homes .. I hope that you all get help fast !!!!!
    love

    Johnny

  4. Kendra says:

The pictures don’t even begin to do it justice. I live in the neighboring town, and it is completely unrecognizable. You can’t even begin to get a sense of the devastation until you are able to look in every direction and see…well, nothing.
