Soap opera filmed entirely in IKEA without permission

Several years ago, a group of actors got together and filmed a hilariously melodramatic soap opera…using their local IKEA store for the setting of every scene — bedroom, kitchen, office…and pillow factory.

Whitney Avalon, the actress who played the female lead, says the first few episodes were filmed easily and no one bothered them, but then…

…once the press tipped off Ikea to what we were doing, filming later episodes got mighty interesting! We were told they had our character’s photos up in the security room. So that was fun.
