he past seven months haven't been easy for America's favorite punching bag, Sean Spicer, but a recent development may have made all of his public hardship worthwhile.
So what is it that Mr. Spicer dreamed of doing, exactly?
You don't have to be a fan of politics or Donald Trump to know who Sean Spicer is.
Oops. That’s Melissa McCarthy playing Sean Spicer on SNL. McCarthy’s parody of Spicer may have actually been more popular than Spicer himself, though no less entertaining.
There's Sean Spicer. The real one.
For months, Spicer was mouthpiece of the Trump administration, known for going ballistic on reporters and spouting some dubious-at-best facts coming from the White House.
It was frustrating for many, yet hard to turn away from.
However, he quickly fell out of President Trump's good graces for reasons we may never know.
Perhaps the most public slap in the face (aside from being fired) was being intentionally excluded on a visit earlier this year to meet the Pope, which Spicer had shared with many as a lifelong dream of his.
Well, he's no longer with the White House, but Spicey finally had his dream come true!
And now that he’s no longer entrenched in such a divisive administration, people who had previously been critical of Spicer’s role are now cheering that the man himself got to fulfill a lifelong dream as a Catholic.
As this tweet reads, some people might just be happy that Spicer succeeded in spite of what many saw as a cruel and vindictive move by the President.
It’s amazing the way people can view a person differently when they take on a different role, isn’t it?
So, what did the public have to say?
