Has the image in step 3 defeated the purpose of filling in the QR code? or did you obfuscate the email address?

  2. Jambone says:

That’s just to access the application. It will be a short interview if you can’t produce the finished code in person.

  3. Brian says:

Too bad for you if you have loads of talent but no smartphone. Guess you have to find somewhere else to work…

  4. MS says:

@Brian: Smartphones are free with new contracts. If you don’t have a smartphone you aren’t living in 2013.

    1. AngelusOscuro says:

@MS: Some of us don’t want to pay for the ridiculously-priced data plans. I’m already paying for internet at home. Why would I want to pay for a data plan that would cost me more than I’m paying for home internet?

      1. jen says:

no-contract plans are awesome because they are truly unlimited. i dont understand why people sign up for expensive lengthy contracts! no-contract services such as Cricket here in the NW have great reception & service as well. i want to convert everyone!

    2. Other countries exist says:

Here in Ireland they may offer a free smart phone but it will costs triple that in a 2 year contract as standard at €50 a month around $70!!

    3. Jason says:

I live in 2013 and I don’t even have a cellphone. I do more than fine. I have a life, real conversations not interrupted by calls, I drive without distraction, I don’t walk into walls, I look at people when I’m out, not down at a tiny screen.
I am polite to cashiers and servers, I acknowledge their existence with eye contact and a thank you. I don’t take photos of my food, clothes, car, kids,Christmas tree, dog, cat or duck lips and post them on every social media site in existence. I don’t spend my time at events taking video of what is happening, I actually enjoy the event itself, imagine that.
As far as affording it, it is unnecessary, if you can’t handle any amount of time away from a device, you have a problem.
