Dead bug nail art!
A nail salon in Melbourne, Australia called Deadly Beauty And Nails Studio has been making quite the splash on Instagram lately.
Their creepy-crawly creations have most people transfixed by a mix of wonder and disgust.
The bug offerings vary based on your preference.
For instance, if you want a dead wasp encased in acrylic on your finger, you can have it!
Is it just us, or would these nails only make sense on some kind of supervillain?
Nic Casati, nail artist at Deadly Beauty and Nails Studio, lets customers bring in their own dead things for their nails.
Everything from ladybugs to spiders, seahorses, and scorpions is fair game.
Because the critters are surrounded by acrylic, they're preserved and won't decompose.
Casati drew inspiration for these creepy creations from Mexican women who would incorporate scorpions into their nail art.
This customer chose to add some snakeskin to her manicure.
While this type of thing may not be our cup of tea, we do admire the courage it takes to rock the look.
And the snakeskin version is probably the least repulsive option if you want something dead embedded into your nails.
