f you’re anything like me, you’re needing some serious rally energy on Monday. And just in time to perk up your day is the Los Angeles Dodgers’ own rally grandma.
After a long week of July 4th celebrations your dog thought would never end, nothing else says summer quite like a day out at the ballpark enjoying America’s pastime with the family.
It’s the classic backdrop for any father and son bonding session, and it’s where everyone’s grandpa just kind of always is.
But guys, this is 2017, and this isn’t just your grandpa’s game anymore. They serve wine at ballgames now, so you knew eventually grandma was gonna be taking over. Not only that, but she’s bringing all the moves she learned before she met grandpa.
So maybe grandpa should avert his eyes?
Saturday’s game saw the Dodgers trailing Kansas City early on, that is until this granny decided to break out some serious rally moves, and finally, bust out the big guns.
In one glorious moment she made it clear to the whole stadium that she was willing to do whatever it takes to see her beloved Dodgers win the day.
When the chips are down, who wouldn’t be inspired by a sassy grandma getting down and busting out, literally, to shake things up.
Perhaps inspired by her confidence, or maybe just terrified to ruin grandma’s big day out, the Dodgers soon came back and ended up winning the game in extra innings.
Needless to say the fans were ecstatic, but of course, you have to give credit where credit is due, and though I’m sure technically the players had a little to do with Saturday’s victory, the real fans knew who the true hero of the day was.
So thank you, Rally Grandma...
…not only for helping your team win, but for showing all of us that there’s no reason at all to be ashamed of the fun we had this weekend.
