hank goodness the accepted definition of beauty has started to change. The shift has come in large part thanks to a viral body positive movement on Instagram that's taken the world by storm.
Tabria Majors is a model and a member of that movement. She's super fierce and has been breaking barriers left and right, proving that "curvy" women are just as sexy and strong as anyone else. Her recent recreation of some Victoria's Secret ads only solidifies that point.
This is Tabria Majors.
Majors is a model with more than 423,000 Instagram followers. She uses her platform to showcase her gorgeous self and she knocks it out of the park every single time.
Majors also makes sure to spread a message of body acceptance and positivity.
She’s the co-host of The Thick Podcast, which “focuses on making light of the challenges in dating and work life, and also provides health, fashion, and beauty tips from the perspectives of a Plus Size, Super Model in the making and a professional career oriented woman.”
She's an active participant in the body positive movement, a beacon of strength and hope for women who don't fit society's outdated ideals.
And while those ideals are outdated, while standards of beauty finally evolving, it’s also true that out of 52 models in this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show lineup, not a single one of them are non-straight sized.
Tabria Majors wasn't about to let that titan of lingerie and bathing suits get away with that appalling lack of diversity.
So Majors decided that she would recreate several Victoria’s Secret ads to show that curvy women are just as capable of looking incredible in and selling lingerie.
The photos are so fierce it's ridiculous.
Majors more than proves her point and honestly looks even better than the Victoria’s Secret models in these amazing photos.
You have to see them.
