Twenty-year-old Wyatt Hall and nineteen-year-old Kirsten Titus were dating for awhile, but they're young, and Titus decided that she was just kind of over it.
“I think the both of us we were starting to feel we were better as friends,” Titus said. “I thought if I was going to end things with him I wanted to do it in a creative way.”
There's certainly no crime in falling out of love at a young age.
In fact, the mistake most youngsters make is thinking that love is a one-shot deal when they’re nineteen or so. THAT’S when the real bad stuff happens!
Even if no one is at fault, breakups can still be very difficult.
Telling someone that you don’t love them anymore is awkward and hurtful even with the best intentions. There’s, sadly, no great way around it.
So what's a kind-hearted girl to do?
There’s no sure-fire answer, but one approach that popped into Kirsten’s head was certainly a CLEVER one, if not the most sensitive.
It’s good for a laugh now to those of us on the outside looking in, but for Wyatt?
Well, that’s subjective, you see.
Maybe she should have just sent him this meme.
She didn't do that, however. She got crafty.
And the reaction was the equivalent of the “shot heard ’round the world” on Twitter.
Poor Wyatt. See how he was informed on the next page.
