You can judge for yourself, but many feel that Eric Trump's unusually candid nature could be foreshadowing something.
Eric said in the interviews:
“It’s the media, the mainstream media, who does not want [the president] to succeed. It’s government who does not want him to succeed… No matter what he does, he’s going to get hit, and listen, I think you have to tune it out.”
People have found it ironic that Trump, being a notorious bully (people on both sides will agree on that), is getting his feelings hurt.
Especially because criticism of Trump is based on his performance as President, whereas Donald himself is quick to brandish people “losers” or “fake” for questioning his governance.
This could explain why Trump is fed positive news stories about himself several times a day.
Others believe that the impending legal fallout from the Russia collusion investigation is leading to his increasingly feeble state of mind.
Eric is right in saying that this criticism would take its toll on anyone, but it’s part of the job, and Trump has earned at least some of it.
Others suggest it might be a conflict of conscience.
It’s certainly not a laughing matter, if true, but it’s not coming as a surprise to many of his critics.
Many feel that this whole "Presidency" thing hasn't worked out the way he hoped.
And the title doesn’t grant the titleholder automatic respect and admiration.
But others think there’s even more at play.
