s there anything Donald Trump won't brag about? We've heard him say he has the best words. We've seen him brag about the size of his inauguration crowd. He even continues to brag about the election which won nearly a full year ago.
But now, as Hurricane Irma approaches the U.S., Trump has found something to new brag about. Unfortunately, this time his brag is about the size of the disaster that's threatening to decimate the southeastern United States.
As Hurricane Irma barrels over the Atlantic Ocean, meteorologists and government officials alike are advising those in its path to prepare.
The hurricane is the most powerful Atlantic storm in 10 years, carrying wind speeds of up to 185 mph.
Since scientists started keeping records of hurricanes in 1851, the U.S. has never been hit by two category four or higher storms in the same season.
Needless to say, we should all be paying attention to Hurricane Irma.
Hurricane Irma comes hot on the heels of Hurricane Harvey.
The citizens of Texas are just starting to rebuild after the devastation left behind by Harvey. As a nation, we’re all still feeling the effects of the last two weeks.
But there’s one man who’s attitude about this whole “hurricane” thing is… slightly confusing, to say the least.
That man is Donald Trump. The President of the United States of America.
Is he afraid of Hurricane Irma? Not a chance.
He’s the president, after all!
And don't forget, he did look directly at the solar eclipse last month.
Apparently, the the man simply isn’t intimidated by the incredible power of nature. (Even if it could literally blind him.)
In fact, it’s starting to seem as though he’s more impressed by it than intimidated.
As Hurricane Irma became a more imminent threat to the U.S., Trump was quick to point out that he and his incredible team were already on the case.
Which is good, because, you know. He’s the President. He probably should be on the case.
This tweet wasn’t that weird. But what he tweeted two minutes later has made some people scratching their heads.
So, what was it?
