o matter how old your kids are, going out to eat can be a challenge, even more so when you have a baby who you're breastfeeding.
Just ask New Zealand mom Briar Lusia Mcqueen, who was out for breakfast alone with her 8-week-old son Jaxon for the first time since giving birth.
Right when her food arrived, Jaxon started crying to be fed, so instead of eating her own breakfast, she naturally fed him instead.
It was then that an older woman approached her table, and instead of telling her to stop publicly feeding her son, she did something that Mcqueen will never forget.
She began cutting up Mcqueen’s food and helping her to enjoy her own meal.
Mcqueen described the event here:
Her post has more than 7,000 shares and 8,500 comments, with others weighing in on how such a simple gesture can mean so much.
The moral of the story is that sometimes human milk machines need a helping hand in refueling themselves.
Instead of cutting them down, maybe just cut their bacon.
