Kim Kardashian has hit back at the brutal comments surrounding the legitimacy of daughter North's viral painting...
Earlier this week, Kim shared North's masterpiece to her Instagram story...
And it didn't take long for the comments to come pouring in.
But now, Kim has hit back, and she hasn't held back...
Now, we all know the Kardashians are an absolute media force.
They've all starred in one of the most successful reality shows of all time and each of the sisters has a massive influence on social media.
The Kardashian-Jenners are more than just influencers, though.
Especially coming from (pretty) humble beginnings.
via: ShutterstockSure, they've always had an element of wealth and fame - but back when Keeping Up With The Kardashians started, the sisters certainly weren't the biggest Hollywood success story.
They've come a long way.

Although it's certainly no secret that the siblings have stirred up their fair share of controversy over the years.
Take the repeated accusations of cultural appropriation, for instance.

Or what about the photoshopping errors fans always spot?
And who can forget?
In 2017, the world watched, appalled, as Kendall Jenner brought a social justice protest to an end with one simple act – handing the police officer a can of Pepsi in a very controversial ad.
As problematic goes, this was definitely up there (and of course, the ad was promptly pulled following the backlash).
But there's one sister who seems to land themselves in hot water more than the others...
The second eldest of the clan, Kim Kardashian.
In recent years, Kim appears to have ventured off from her reality TV beginnings.
She is also a big player in the fashion scene.
The star also reportedly began a 4-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco in 2019.
It's a huge commitment...
But, as predicted, the internet didn't know what to make of the star's announcement.

In 2018, the star pulled off an impressive legal accomplishment.

She used her celebrity status for good and managed to successfully convinced Donald Trump to commute the prison sentence of Alice Marie Johnson, a grandmother serving life in prison without parole for a non-violent drug crime, VOX reports.
And she didn't stop there.

Despite the good however, Kim frequently seems to get on the wrong side of fans.
The accusations came after this magazine cover was released:
The photoshoot was for 7Hollywood, an “L.A.-based biannual fashion, celebrity, and art magazine distributed worldwide."
The shoot was supposedly inspired by Elizabeth Taylor, however, many saw these shots and immediately got the impression that Kim was channeling (or appropriating) Black culture instead.
Her skin had been noticeably darkened.

Kim has also been frequently mom-shamed.
This picture of her daughter caused a stir in 2019.

She shared this on Instagram stories.
And quickly, the internet went crazy.

And now Kim has hit back at the negative comments...
The painting is so impressive, that most people didn't believe North had painted it.
Resulting in a fiery response from Kim...
She said North and one of her friends have been taking a "serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured.
"North worked incredibly hard on her painting which took several weeks to complete. As a mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone," Kim added.
She said she had seen a lot of comments questioning the legitimacy of her daughter's artwork...
"How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of not being awesome!?!?! Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be GREAT!!!" she wrote.
However, one TikToker shed some light on the situation, sharing a picture of herself at 7 years old with the exact same painting, revealing her mother is actually an art teacher...
@lexijawn i think she did actually! https://t.co/lvoypDNmko— madison (@madison)1612847789.0
"She taught North how to paint the same one just 2 weeks ago," she revealed.
"She's been an art teacher for thirty years and everyone who comes to her classes goes through this exact same painting when they are starting out," she added.
So there you have it...
It looks like North did actually paint the masterpiece.
