Nearly Two Decades Later, TLC Is Finally Clarifying Their ‘No Scrubs’ Policy

In 1999, everyone knew that: “A scrub is a guy that think he’s fine and is Also known as a buster (buster, buster) Always talkin’ about what he wants And just sits on his broke ass.” Also, I am now reminded that even though I can’t remember why I opened a new tab on my computer, I can still remember every word of that song.

It’s a valid question. I mean, it has been almost two decades, so maybe they’ve loosened their standards a little bit? Or is it still: “No, I don’t want your number (no) I don’t want to give you mine and (no) I don’t want to meet you nowhere (no) Don’t want none of your time and…”

“Hanging out the passenger side Of his best friend’s ride Trying to holler at me…”

He’s got jokes, y’all.

Now we can finally rest easy!
