Celebrities: They’re just like us!
Except they have way, way more money and can therefore afford some pretty amazing/insane homes. Here are 20 photos of celebrities’ houses to add to your list of unattainable dreams.
Architectural Digest recently did a tour of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s midcentury Bel Air home, and holy smokes is that place ever gorgeous.
“If I wasn’t an actress, I’d want to be a designer,” Aniston told Architectural Digest. “I love the process. There’s something about picking out fabrics and finishes that feeds my soul.”
By the looks of her home, Aniston’s soul must be pretty well-fed at this point.
When Aniston and Theroux feel like spending time outside, they have this luxurious pool and outdoor entertainment space that looks perfect for chilling and taking in views of LA.
And when they feel like spending time inside…
…They’ve got literally the most perfect bathroom situation I’ve ever seen in my entire life. You know that Jennifer Aniston is some kind of superhero purely based on the fact that she’s been able to leave that tub. That takes an imaginable amount of strength.
Why yes, that is a bed that one has to pull down from the ceiling in order to sleep.
Any guesses as to which celebrity once owned this adorable tiny Hollywood house?
The Mad Men star and Minnesota native opted to go small rather than taking the more traditional bigger-is-better celebrity route.
He bought a 580-square-foot cabin in Hollywood.
You might have noticed that the headboard isn’t actually attached to the bed.
When the bed is hoisted up in the air (counterbalanced by 300-lb weights), the headboard folds down and becomes a desk. How convenient!
Kartheiser worked together with designer and builder Funn Roberts to maximize every last inch of the diminutive space. And as you can see, they did a phenomenal job.
He and wife Alexis Bledel later moved into this stunning home in Brooklyn, New York.
The one-bedroom, two-bathroom home was still on the small side compared to a lot of celebrity dwellings, but a significant increase in square footage from the previous cabin.
Is this home located on the actual sun? I don’t think there’s any other explanation for how much natural light is bouncing around in there. It looks cheery and lovely and fresh and oh my gosh can I just move in immediately?
Next up, let’s take a look at the Los Feliz home of Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard…
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard moved in just this past summer.
The home is located in the exclusive, gated Laughlin Park area and just quarter mile away from Angelina Jolie’s home (which was itself previously owned by none other than Cecil B. DeMille).
The Bell/Shepard abode has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms (which should be more than enough space for them and their two young daughters).
They have nearly an acre of property, a carriage, something called a motor court, and a pool with a hot tub.
They also apparently have this awesome three-wheeled motorcycle thing.
Bell posted the above photo on Instagram back in November. Hey, maybe celebrities really are just like us.
It’s just that most of us don’t have a gigantic formal living room to fill up with kids’ toys. Other than that, though, this is all kinds of #relatable.
She calls the 13,000-square-foot home “my f**k-you house,” because she bought it with cash even though she’s a self-described D-list celebrity.
The house has 9 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and an infinity pool you kinda have to see to believe…
What’s better than an infinity pool? A video of an infinity pool that also includes puppies, obviously.
I’ll take the pool and the dogs, thankyouverymuch.
Believe it or not, this incredibly chic Manhattan home belonged to none other than…
This is yet another celebrity home that manages to get a lot of natural sunlight. Are celebrities just born closer to the Sun or something?
Of course George Clooney has a movie theater in his home.
I mean, he’s George Clooney, for pete’s sake. How could he not?
Fun fact: George Clooney’s house is actually next door to Cindy Crawford’s!
Her luxurious New York City townhouse has four stories, each of them somehow even more impressive than the last.
Wouldn’t you just love to curl up in front of that fireplace? You would. I know you would.
