22 Items For Your Friendsgiving Table

No matter how busy the holiday months get, I always make time to throw a Friendsgiving Party for my chosen family. I just love showing my friends how much I care for them with food, drink, and fun. To pull off the perfect pre-Thanksgiving gathering, though, I need a lot of supplies. After all, who throws a holiday dinner party without decorating the kitchen and creating a gorgeous tablescape?!

There are a few classic pieces I pull out every year when Friendsgiving rolls around, like the turkey platter and fancy china my grandma gave me. But I always have to buy a few new things too—it’s the perfect excuse to browse all the uber-cute Thanksgiving goodies on Amazon. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to buy some new fall items…it’s time to throw a Friendsgiving Feast!

Make The Mood With Velvet Pumpkins

  via Amazon

I saw these velvet pumpkins on Amazon and knew I had to have them. They’re pretty much the cutest artificial pumpkins I’ve ever seen—and I love how they feel. I’ll be scattering them all over my Friendsgiving table for a pop of seasonal color.

Welcome Your Friends With A Glittery Banner

  via Amazon

I could buy a traditional Thanksgiving banner with turkeys and pumpkins, but why would I do that when this gem is available? This, ahem, explicit Friendsgiving banner sends a clear message. Your mom might not like it, but your friends will!

Keep Drinks At The Ready In This Glass Beverage Dispenser

  via Amazon

I make a killer Friendsgiving punch with cranberry juice, gingerale, fresh orange slices and cinnamon sticks…but I hate serving it from a punch bowl. Who thought ladles and drinks should go together?! This one-gallon glass beverage dispenser is mess-free and much easier to use.

Welcome Guests With A Beautiful Balloon Arch

  via Amazon

All across America, a balloon arch over a front door means one thing: something special is about to happen! Why not bring that sense of excitement to my Friendsgiving festivities too? I love this gorgeous balloon arch in autumn colors. You know it’s going to be fun to walk through.

Make Guests Smile With Cocktail Quote Napkins

  via Amazon

I set out to find classy cocktail napkins for my Thanksgiving festivities, I really did. But why not get these quirky cotton quote napkins instead? With everything from tongue-in-cheek humor to heartwarming Charlie Brown quotes, I know I’m going to find the perfect little napkin for each of my guests.

Set The Scene With A Pretty Fall Tablecloth

  via Amazon

Friendsgiving is a time of pumpkins. There’s pumpkin pie, pumpkin decorations, pumpkin-shaped plates, pumpkin candy platters…you get the idea. I don’t need my tablecloth to be covered in pumpkins too. I’m opting for this metallic leaves tablecloth instead—it will offset all those pumpkins perfectly!

Top Your Holiday Desserts With A Whipped Cream Dispenser

  via Amazon

If your holiday desserts aren’t covered in whipped cream, are you even doing it right? (No, you’re not.) I know, it’s a pain to drag out the mixer just to make whipped cream, and that canned stuff doesn’t taste quite right. You need a whipped cream dispenser. Dessert woes fixed!

Create A Soft Glow With Mercury Glass Votive Holders

  via Amazon

Nothing sets the stage for a sophisticated Friendsgiving feast like the soft glow of (unscented) candles. Yes, I absolutely own some brass turkey tealight holders. But I’m going for a classier look this year with these mercury glass votive holders. They say, “I’m a grown-up even though I have a balloon arch and a potty-mouth welcome banner.”

Serve Up Some Charcuterie On A Marble Board

  via Amazon

I’m a big foodie, so you know I’m going to have a charcuterie board at my big pre-Thanksgiving get-together. I’ll be using this marble cutting board to set up a mini buffet of cheese and hard sausages. Everyone else is using a wooden board, so why not? I love being a trend setter.

Bake Up Some Festive Fall Mini Loaves

  via Amazon

Do I know what the heck I’m going to bake in this amazing, fall-themed mini loaf pan? Not at all. But I do know that it’s going to taste great because it’s going to look great. I’m thinking a homemade gingerbread sponge sprinkled with powdered sugar…

Dare Your Guests To Be Wild With Unbreakable Glasses

  via Amazon

Look, I love my friends. But I don’t love broken glasses, and there have been more than a few in Friendsgivings past. So, I got smart last year and bought these unbreakable stemless glasses before the big party. My dinner will never be interrupted by shattered glasses again.

Divide & Conquer With A Pumpkin Snack Tray

  via Amazon

Do you have any of those holiday guests who won’t eat from your charcuterie board because they can’t stand when food items touch? Yeah, me too. I try to be patient, but it’s impossible to keep everything separated. At least I can ensure some of my pre-meal snacks don’t touch with this divided pumpkin snack tray!

Dish Out Your Salad With Titanium-Plated Salad Servers

  via Amazon

Ahh, the obligatory Friendsgiving salad. I never want to put out that big old bowl of greens, but I know some of my friends look forward to it. If I have to put out that rabbit food, though, you bet I’m going to present it with striking salad servers.

Just Say Yes To This Clever Cranberry Sauce Dish

  via Amazon

Yes we cran! Yes we cran! This darling cranberry sauce dish is a must-have if your friend group includes that one person who just can’t stop with the puns. I know my bestie is going to squeal in delight when she notices that the serving spoon has a punny message too.

Dress A Cake In A Dazzling Glittered Topper

  via Amazon

One year for Friendsgiving, I made an eye-catching naked cake. It looked beautiful, but it tasted…boring. Instead of making a trendy dessert this year, I’m just going to stick with a (heavily frosted) classic and finish it with a glittering Happy Friendsgiving cake topper.

Keep It Clean With Cloth Napkins

  via Amazon

My Friendsgiving guests can always count on a few fancy touches at my dinner table. That means cloth napkins and coordinating napkin rings are a must! I’m sticking with a basic, solid color that will complement my tablecloth and place settings this year.

Cushion Your Feet With Fall Kitchen Mats

  via Amazon

Y’all, I spend hours on end in the kitchen on the days leading up to Friendsgiving. There’s so much baking to be done and food to prep…and man, does a girl get tired! I invested in these anti-fatigue kitchen mats to protect my feet. It ends up that they’re a perfect décor accent for all my fall parties too!

Make Every Drink Delightful With A Mini Ice Cube Tray

  via Amazon

I’ve been throwing a Friendsgiving party for at least 10 years now, so I’m always looking for fun ways to switch things up at the dinner table. This year, I’ll be filling this mini ice cube tray with cranberry juice to add to my legendary Thanksgiving punch. It’s going to look so cool!

Add A Festive Pop To Your Kitchen With Pumpkin Dish Towels

  via Amazon

I’m a realist, y’all: I know clean-up after the big feast is going to be intense. I’m making it a little bit brighter this year with these pretty fall dish towels. They’re completely functional, and they make my kitchen look a bit more festive too.

Let Me See Those Golden Tongs

  via Amazon

Fair warning: your friends might fight over these amazing gold-plated mini tongs. They’re just so regal and fancy. Who doesn’t want to grab a few pickles and olives with these babies sitting around? You can bet that I’ll be pulling these out every year.

Keeps Your Seats Sorted With Place Card Holders

  via Amazon

Friendsgiving is a joyful occasion, but let’s be honest. You might be inviting two people who don’t really like each other. You don’t want them to bring down the joyful mood, but what can you do? Put their names in these place card holders and separate them, of course!

Round Out The Evening With Just-For-Fun Scratchers

  via Amazon

Every year, I ask my Friendsgiving guests to bring two of their favorite gourmet candies to the party. We divide the candies into two piles, then we break out the turkey dinner scratchers and see who gets to go home with the loot! It’s a silly tradition that always closes out the party on a happy note.
