And, in his 8 years in the White House, Obama cut taxes for working families, small businesses and first-time homebuyers, as well as sticking to his promise of tackling financial reform, alternative energy, reinventing education, and health care.

And she made the most idyllic first lady.

The Obama's have a lengthy love story.

The couple first met when a then twenty-five-year-old Michelle Robinson was assigned as a mentor for a twenty-eight-year-old Barack Obama at their law firm.

Though Michelle admits that, initially, she wasn't too keen on the idea of dating Barack...

"Barack, about a month in, asked me out, and I thought 'No way. This is completely tacky,'" she told ABC News, when discussing how the pair had met.

But it was meant to be.

Barack's proposed date was clearly a hit, as the pair were quick to become a couple, and later tied the knot in 1992. Michelle noted that her husband's vows were a glimpse at what was to come. “Barack didn’t pledge riches, only a life that would be interesting. On that promise he delivered," she later recalled.

Michelle supported her husband as he navigated his way through politics...

And, along with their 2 young daughters Malia and Sasha, she was suddenly catapulted into the spotlight when he ran for president.

It didn't take the world long to fall completely in love with Michelle...

And people simply loved the first lady.

Since Barack's presidency came to an end in 2017, he and Michelle have remained firmly in the public eye...

And they both spend their time embarking on charity work, their own seperate career ventures, and of course, strongly supporting Joe Biden in his presidential journey.

So all in all...

That 2 adorable 4-year-olds recently recreated Barack and Michelle's inauguration look... and the internet is living for it.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Ryleigh Madison Hampton and her friend Zayden Lowe from Florence, South Carolina.

Ryleigh's grandmother, Sheila, was the one who came up with the idea after watching the inauguration in January.

"She literally gasped after seeing it and thought it would be a great idea for a photoshoot," Ryleigh's mom, Zoe Hampton, said to the Daily Mail.

With just a bit of Amazon shopping, she managed to put the whole thing together, dressing Ryleigh in red pants with a bold gold belt, a reddish-pink shirt, and a matching coat.

Zayden, meanwhile, wore a dapper blue coat, a black face mask, and an American flag pin.

Zoe said that while she doesn't think the 4-year-olds understand the significance of the Obamas' role...

Instagram

They "see 2 people who look like them dressed nicely, and that's why representation matters so much for our children."

The adorable pair have gone viral since the pictures were first posted...

And amazingly so, Michelle Obama herself decided to repost the photos, writing:

"Ryleigh & Zayden, you nailed it!"

Simply the cutest thing!
