An eighty-three-year-old man who was jailed for playing classical music too loud in his home has sadly passed away in prison.

But do you think he deserved to spend the final weeks of his life behind bars for making too much noise?

Read on to figure out for yourselves...

It's true when they say...

Music really does make the world go around.

It's one of the many things that just makes life a little bit better...

And there's absolutely no denying that music has impacted the lives of billions.

For many, music is an ultimate passion...

And this was certainly the case for eighty-three-year-old Ian Trainer.

Ian, who was from Liverpool in the U.K, seriously loved classical music...

And was known to play some of his favorite classical tunes at full blast in his home, where he lived alone, most days.

Seems harmless enough, right?

Well, it wasn't so harmless for Ian's neighbors, who would find themselves being constantly disturbed by his unbearably loud music.

Of course, it didn't take long for the noise complaints to be issued.

In December last year following the first complaint made by Ian's neighbors, the elderly man was issued with a restraining order. In response to this, he simply told officers, "I like playing music at a level I enjoy," according to LadBible.

Ian was completely unphased by the complaints...

And regardless of his restraining order, he continued to blast his music at the "level he enjoyed."

However, Ian's pride and joy was making life unbearable for his neighbors.

When giving evidence in court, his neighbor, Thomas Thompson, said: "It's not just one day of the week, it's every day of the week. I go out early morning and stay out until late afternoon to avoid the noise. It's just unbelievable at times."

The restraining order simply didn't make any difference...

Which resulted in Ian being arrested in February of this year. In his defense, he argued in court in February that he was unwell and could only hear in one ear, while the steroids he took for a medical condition made headphones too uncomfortable to wear. Fair enough, right?

Well, the judge didn't see it that way.

Ian was sentenced to twenty-four weeks behind bars and was also ordered to pay court costs of £600 ($800), and a further victim surcharge to Mr. Thompson of £122 ($162).

Even though Ian pleaded "not guilty" and described the allegations as "malicious lies"...

He went on to serve his time behind bars anyway.

But this week has brought us some tragic news about Ian...

And since finding out, people have been left feeling disappointed about the way in which Ian has been treated in the last year.

However, some people felt that Ian deserved to be behind bars for creating an unlivable environment for his neighbors...

The Ministry Of Justice confirmed to LadBible today that Ian passed away in prison at the age of eighty-three.

A Prison Service spokesman said, "HMP Liverpool prisoner Ian Trainer died in hospital on 23 November. The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman has been informed."

Rest in Peace, Ian.
