I ended up finding a whole “outlet” section I didn’t know existed, full of open-box and factory-refurbished appliances and electronics, each one inspected and still backed by a real warranty. I almost bought a second TV for my bedroom because a 55-inch model was marked down so much it felt like a mistake. It wasn’t.
The other thing I didn’t expect: buying direct meant dealing with LG itself if anything went wrong, instead of getting bounced between a store’s return desk and the manufacturer. When my soundbar had a minor connectivity issue, I called LG directly, and it was resolved in one call. No third party to loop in, no runaround.
I’m not saying every single LG product is cheaper on their site every single day — it’s still worth a quick price check around big sale windows. But if you’re anything like me and you assumed the retailers were the ones with the best deals, it’s worth doing what I did and going straight to the source before you buy anywhere else.
I ended up saving over $250 between the TV and the soundbar, and I genuinely almost didn’t check. Don’t make my mistake — check LG’s site first next time.
