A concertgoer told TMZ, the medical emergency happened, when the singer “sat down in front of the drums, and then collapsed backward.”
After this, the medical team and a “bunch of staffers,” including EMTs rushed to his aid.

In the viral video, Santana is seen being “shielded” while officials worked on the singer.
It’s “unclear” what caused Carlos to collapse.

But according to TMZ “he was taken to the hospital” for further evaluation.
Thankfully for fans it was a sigh of relief seeing the singer “waving to the crowd as he was wheeled off the stage,” as per reports.

It was not long until Carlos’ rep told a leading tabloid that he was “doing fine…’
According to reports, the singer performed 4 to 5 songs before feeling unwell, but his rep told TMZ that the 75-year-old was “over-taken by heat exhaustion and dehydration,” which is why he was taken to a local hospital for further observation.
“He’s doing well,” concluded the rep.
