Kanye West has been roasted online for selling his new collection in trash bags as fans complained they have to “dig through everything.”
Rather than having his clothing product on hangers, like every other retail shop, Kanye decided to take on a different approach…
This comes as his new Yeezy line for GAP has been displayed in trash bags — at his own request.
This means people have to constantly dig through several clothes to find the one for them.
Not only that, but workers won’t even try to help customers find the right size for them, the Daily Mail reports.
Upon seeing pictures of his latest clothing line, which he revealed was ‘inspired by the homeless’ last week on Instagram, social media users were quick to roast the star…
And pointed out that as a former Gap employee Kanye “knows what he’s doing.”
He made an entire song about how much he loathed working at the store, and many are questioning why he would make the lives of employees working at GAP harder.
In response to Kanye’s bizarre vision of stuffing clothes in a disorderly manner, Twitter users expressed their thoughts…
“I’m convinced Kanye GAP collection has to be a social experiment,” one user wrote. While another added: “Remember, Kanye literally worked at The GAP. He knows what he’s doing to those employees.”
But one user supported the idea of Kanye using trash bags to display clothes, and said: “Eliminate the maddening perpetual cycle of constantly refolding and hanging and presenting clothing to a corporate vision standard.”
