Now, there’s no doubting Paul’s success…

The twenty-six-year-old YouTuber currently has millions of subscribers on the platform and several successful businesses.

But, there’s something about Paul that a lot of people can’t get onboard with.

And no matter what he does, he can’t seem to shake that vibe…

Back then he only had 8.5 million followers, and yeah, to us normal folk that might seem like a lot, but compared to the millions he has now.

But he didn’t exactly act like your average Disney Channel kid, in fact, he’s been the subject of many controversies…

A local news channel in West Hollywood reported on his crazy antics, saying that, along with his friends, he had managed to infuriate their neighbors so much that they were discussing the possibility of filing a lawsuit against him.

He was even filmed responding to the backlash…

“The neighbors hate me,” he said proudly after mocking a reporter’s shoes. He claimed he had turned the street into a circus, responding: “I mean, but people like going to circuses, right?”

Maytal Dahan, one of Paul’s neighbors spoke out against the teens behavior…

“It used to be a really nice quiet street and now we’re just this war zone,” he claimed.

But despite the hate he received online for his inconsiderate actions, he tried to take the conversation elsewhere…

He decided to tell us there were innocent people “getting shot” out there and we shouldn’t be focusing on him. While we completely agree, that’s not the point.

And since then, his haters have tripled…

Thanks to feuds with giant YouTubers such as PewDiePie, which saw him gain more haters than fans, and before you knew it, he became the king of unnecessary ‘beef’ online in order to keep himself relevant.

But since then, he’s made a rather bizarre career change.

Pivoting away from his usual content creation and… Boxing?

And his career so far has been controversial, to say the least.

And has led to some pretty problematic health conditions…

Paul first called out none other than Conor McGregor for a fight.

“My team is talking to his manager but that’s all I’ll say,” he said.

“No other fighter with this big of a platform is calling out McGregor. My dogs have more followers than the guy he’s fighting in January,” he said at the time…

“I’m gonna dedicate my life to winning that fight because I’m not going in there just to say I did it — I’m going in there to f**k Conor McGregor up.”

And he didn’t stop at Conor McGregor, the social media personality has famously released a boxing “hit list” …

But lately, he’s shared that he’s been suffering from some health problems due to the sport.

Before Paul’s rematch with Tyron Woodley, he made an appearance on In Depth With Graham Besinger

Where he shared that he has been struggling with his memory and slurred speech due to boxing.

“I notice it in conversations with like, with my girlfriend or friends, like, not remembering something that I should be able to remember that happened a couple days ago,” he told the host.

Adding: “Sometimes in my speech, where like every hundredth or two hundredth word, I’ll mess up or, like, slur, which I didn’t do that before.”

Despite this, he still managed a pretty impressive knockout against the UFC champion Tyron Woodley.

So although his doctor has advised him against fighting, it doesn’t look like he’ll be stopping anytime soon… even if there are consequences.

And that works out pretty well for boxing legend Butterbean, whose real name is Eric Esch, who then challenged him to a fight…

Despite retiring in 2013, the fifty-five-year-old ex-heavyweight champion is eager to get back into the ring one last time.

Esch has said that after working out with ex-WWE star Diamond Dallas Page, he’s in the “best shape ever.”

He even spoke out on social media about his significant weight loss.

Taking to Instagram in March, Esch said: “I’m working with DDP to get up walking and running around again and I’m feeling the best shape I ever have.

“I’m at fight weight. You’ll have to listen to my podcast coming up to find exactly how much weight I have lost, but I haven’t weighed this in over 20 years so that’ll give you an idea.”

He continued: “The big announcement is I’m gonna fight one last fight. It’s gonna be one year from now. Jake Paul, if you’re ready, I’m here for you my friend. Let’s get it on, me and you Jake Paul.

“I bet it would be an awesome fight. After you said what you said about me in the magazine, I’m ready to fight you. Are you ready? I don’t think so.”

But last night, Jake Paul suffered a major career loss.

He lost to the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, Tommy.

This leaves Paul with his first career loss.

But Paul isn’t taking this lying down …

“All respect to Tommy, he won, but I think we deserve that rematch,” he said.

  via Getty Images

“I felt flat, I got sick really bad twice in this camp, injured my arm. But I lost, I’m not making excuses.”

He also said he won’t let this loss define his career.

  via Getty Images

“Don’t judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses.”

Fury dedicated his win to his newborn daughter with social media influencer Molly Mae Hague, Bambi Fury.

“For the past two years, this is all that has consumed my life,” he said. “Everybody thought I was running scared, but tonight I made my own legacy.”

“This is my first main event, I am going to get bigger and better and if he wants a rematch, bring it on.”

Congratulations to Fury on his win!
