Drake Bell, the former star of the hit Nickelodeon sitcom, Drake & Josh, left fans shocked after going missing.
He was reported missing by police in Daytona beach.
But luckily, the star has now been found.
And now, there has been another shocking twist in the tale.
As Bell’s wife has filed for divorce …
When we first met Drake as, well, Drake, on the set of Drake & Josh, none of us quite had his life now envisioned for him.
Alongside his co-star, Josh Peck, Drake appeared in every episode across the show’s 4 seasons, and each and every one was a roaring success.
He’s multitalented …
Drake is also a musician and managed to release his first 2 albums, Telegraph and It’s Only Time while filming the show.
His third album, Ready Set Go! arrived in 2014…
He also released The Lost Album, which included songs from a missing hard drive that were originally supposed to be a follow-up to his 2006 album.
And, as it stands, has a strong following on Instagram.
Because, in recent years, it emerged that Drake had actually relocated to Mexico.
But this is where things start to get really weird…
Safe to say, fans don’t know what to think after hearing the whole story.
The star changed his Twitter and Instagram handles to “Drake Campana”…
Making people come to the conclusion that he had legally changed his surname.
As well as captioning all social media posts in the language.
Which, once translated into English, explains that his social networks would only be in Spanish, adding “no more English.”
People have been confused and concerned by Bell for a while now.
And then, the plot thickened.
Earlier this week, the star was reported missing in Daytona Beach.
In a statement, Daytona Beach Police Department said: “Officers are looking for Jared Bell, DOB 06/27/1986.”
“He should be traveling in a 2022 grey BMW and his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9p.m.”
“He is considered missing and endangered.”
“If you know where he is or have any information, please contact Detective Jayson Wallace at 386-671-5207 or [email protected].”
Luckily, the star was found soon after.
He then released a statement on the story.
Writing on Twitter, he joked: “You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this?”
And now, there’s been another twist in the tale.
As Bells’ wife Janet Von Schmeling has now filed for divorce after 4 years of marriage, as per TMZ.
She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Claiming the pair have been separated since last September.
Drake and Janet share one child together, one-year-old Wyatt.
Janet is seeking full custody.
She does want Drake to be granted visitation rights.
And is seeking spousal support.
Nonetheless, we’re glad Bell was found safely!
And maybe next time, he’ll let someone know where he’s going …
