The enigma surrounding the untimely demise of three Kansas City Chiefs fans at the residence of Jordan Willis continues to unfold.
As the last person to allegedly see the three fans alive, the fifth friend in the equation has recently hired a criminal defense attorney, Andrew Talge, and is contesting parts of Willis’ account of the events.
The Tragic Discovery
On January 9, three Chiefs fans – David Harrington, Ricky Johnson, and Clayton McGeeney were discovered lifeless in the backyard of Jordan Willis’ home in Kansas City, Missouri.
The trio had been missing since January 7, the day they visited Willis to watch the Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Fifth Friend’s Account
The unnamed fifth friend, who was also at Willis’ home on the fateful night, asserts that when he left at midnight, all of the men were still alive.
His denial of being the ‘last person to see the three men alive’ contradicts Willis’ account of the incident.
“It’s absolutely not true,” the fifth friend told FOX 4 Kansas City.
Discrepancies in Communication
According to Andrew Talge, the defense attorney representing the fifth friend, his client texted Willis the day after the incident.
This contradicts Willis’ claim of receiving only Facebook messages and no text messages or calls.
No Foul Play, Says Police
The Kansas City Police Department has classified the incident as a death investigation.
They stated no evidence of criminal activity or foul play was discovered at the scene.
Willis’ Account
Willis, found at the scene in his underwear holding a wine glass, maintains his innocence.
He’s asserting he had no knowledge of the tragic end of his friends until he was informed by police.
His attorney, John Picerno, insists that Willis cooperated fully with the police.
“He allowed them to search his home… these were his friends. He’d bought tickets for them all to go to the next Chiefs game – he didn’t want any harm to come to any of them. There was no ill will,” Picerno told DailyMail.com.
Willis’ Personal Life
Willis, a respected scientist known for his research into COVID and HIV, is described as a fun-loving individual who adores his two pit-bull mixes, Sadie and Daisy.
He works from home, often in the company of his beloved pets.
As the murky waters surrounding the tragic incident continue to deepen, the bereaved families of the deceased Kansas City Chiefs fans are left grappling with unanswered questions and the unbearable loss of their loved ones.
Moving Forward
Amidst the swirl of suspicions and theories, the truth of the matter remains shrouded in mystery.
The families, friends, and fans of the Kansas City Chiefs await the conclusion of this cold tale of tragedy.
