Most people eat Starburst candies and throw away the wrappers, but Emily Seilhamer isn't most people.

On her Facebook business page, Artistry and Upcycling, Seilhamer says that she met her husband when he offered her a pack of Starburst, so the candy has a bit of sentimental value for her. She began saving the wrappers and eventually came up with an insanely creative idea..."I’ve been saving Starburst wrappers diligently (with the help of friends and family) for four years to create this dress," she said.

"I’ve been saving Starburst wrappers diligently (with the help of friends and family) for four years to create this dress," she said. And then painstakingly folded them into links, made candy wrapper chains, and sewed them with elastic thread.

"By painting underwear elastic to match the colors of the wrappers, I was able to seal the edges and insert a zipper," she said.

And the final result?Complete with matching candy wrapper bag corsage, of course.

Amazing job, Emily! I'll never look at a Starburst wrapper quite the same way again...
