Paul has been a big name in Hollywood for a while now…

He has starred in all sorts!
Titles he’s been recently involved in include BoJack Horseman and Westworld.

But don’t let this make you think he’s not a movie star too…
He played the leading man in 2014’s Need for Speed.

Other movies he’s been in include The Last House on the Left, Quad, and Dual.
However, Paul is by far best known for his work on the smash hit TV series Breaking Bad.

The star played Jesse Pinkman, a dealer who enters into business with his old chemistry teacher.
The role really solidified Paul’s place as one of the best actors of his generation.

The star was praised to no end for his work on the show.
He even won 3 Emmy’s for his role!

In fact, Paul was nominated 5 times over the 5 seasons of the show — impressive stuff!
And the acclaim didn’t stop there…

Paul also won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor 3 times and the Critic’s Choice Award for his role in 2014.
Breaking Bad was so well received that the star was actually involved in 2 spinoffs too…

First of all, there was Better Call Saul that Paul was briefly involved in.
Additionally, there was the 2019 film El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

The movie continued the story of Paul’s character Jesse Pinkman.
Fans also loved his relationship with co-star Bryan Cranston.

Cranston played Walter White, the chemistry teacher who enters a partnership with Jesse Pinkman, in an attempt to aid his family’s financial future after he is diagnosed with lung cancer.
Their characters have even been immortalized in statues!

Their bronze counterparts live at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico, where the show was filmed.
Despite the show’s rather tragic setup, it still manages to get a load of laughs in.

And this is undoubtedly because of Paul and Cranston’s incredible bond!
The pair are such good friends that Paul even asked Cranston if he would be godfather to his new little one!

How sweet!
Paul opened up about it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon a few months back.

He shared: “I asked Bryan on his birthday if he would be our baby’s godfather.”
Paul joked that Cranston immediately turned down the offer, before adding: “No, he’s very excited, very honored.

“I love the man to death. He’s one of my best friends in the world, and, so yeah, it was just a no-brainer.”
Paul also spoke about the birth of his second child on the chat show.

He shared that his daughter is “madly in love” with their new son.
He said: “[She] can’t squeeze him enough.

“Like, lays on top of him, suffocates him. It’s her doll.”
But now, it has been revealed that Paul wasn’t completely happy with his newborn name.

In fact, the star has changed his name completely!
When he was first born, they named their son Casper Emerson, but it now appears the pair want to change it to Ryden Caspian.

Soon after he was born, Paul shared 3 snaps of his newborn on Instagram, writing: “My little man. Ryden Caspian Paul. So happy you are out in this world you beautiful boy you. I promise to make you proud little guy. We have been absorbing this baby boy for the last month and feel it’s time to finally share the news of his arrival. We love you endlessly.”
In the documents, the pair explain that they came up with a name they preferred only after they left the hospital, but they were required to give one there at the time.

In documents shown to TMZ, it has been revealed that Paul’s entire family is changing their names.
The primary reason for Paul to have his name changed was because the actor wanted to be known by his professional name, as well also wanting consistency in the family.

He wants to officially get his name changed to Paul.
And his wife Lauren is also looking to have her surname changed to Paul as well.

So what is his real name?
