Tawny Kitaen has died.


The actress, Tawny Kitaen, has tragically passed away at the age of just 59.

She was best known for starring in Bachelor Party.


In which she played Tom Hanks' fiance - as Hanks' character goes on his bachelor party...

But that wasn't her only big role.

She also featured in The Perils of Gwendoline and After Midnight.

She started in the entertainment industry on a game show.

When she starred on To Tell The Truth in 1976, aged just 15.

Kitaen also featured in a selection of music videos.

Perhaps most famously, she appeared in Whitesnake's Is This Love, and Here I Go Again.

Kitaen dated Ratt guitarist Robbin Crosby while she was still in high school.

And then she travelled with the band out to LA in the late 70s.

However her life was full of ups and downs.

Back in 1989, Kitaen married Whitesnake's lead singer, David Coverdale - however the marriage was short lived and ended after just two years.

Later she was married to baseball star Chuck Finley.

And she had two daughters with him.

However their marriage didn't last long either.

Finley claimed she repeatedly kicked him in the face with her high heels and she was charged with domestic violence.

Those charges were later dismissed.


However he filed for divorce 3 days later.

She also had her battles with addiction and substance abuse.

Back in 2006, Kitaen was arrested for possession of 15 grams of cocaine.

She was able to avoid prison by attending a six month rehabilitation clinic.

But just three years later she was arrested again for driving under the influence... This time she was given two days in jail.

Earlier today news emerged that Kitaen had sadly passed away.

And tributes to the star have been coming in ever since.

At the time of writing her cause of death has not been revealed.

She was just 59-years-old at the time of her death.
