Rumor has it Adele has a new business venture.
The Mirror reports that the Grammy-winning artist filed paperwork last week to trademark the name of a new company called The Shellbourne Collective Limited.
Its address is located in London and Adele is listed as the sole director.
According to the outlet, the company is a cosmetics line, but no details are known of what kind of products yet.
Hopefully, this means that fans will have a chance to replicate the singer’s signature winged eyeliner with a product made by Adele herself.
Fans had mixed reactions to Adele reportedly getting ready to launch her first makeup line.
Some were excited to potentially recreate her stunning looks.
“Honestly I’m lowkey excited for the Adele makeup line. I think her lipstick and eyeliner stuff got potential. Like I love her lippies!!,” tweeted a fan. Another fan remarked, “listen we dont need another makeup line but an adele eyeliner??? like her eyeliner always looks good so im seated.”
Others were skeptical about Adele’s business decision.
Someone questioned, “love Adele but whyyyy do celebrities feel the need to release makeup lines??? where is the demand coming from??” Another person shared their concerns, speculating, “She will stop making music and all she will talks about is selling her makeup line lol good luck to all her fans.”
With this venture, Adele would be joining various other iconic singers who’ve found success as businesswomen by launching their own cosmetics line. Pop stars who are thriving after releasing a makeup line include…
Rihanna
Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017. The company has gotten as much critical acclaim as her music, with fans raving over the wide array of products and commitment to making sure products accurately match every skin tone.
Selena Gomez

Like Adele, Ariana Grande is known for her winged eyeliner and flawless makeup looks. She joined the ranks of celebrity entrepreneurs in 2021 with r.e.m. beauty, taking its name from the pop star’s 2018 song “R.E.M.”
Halsey
Halsey launched About Face in 2021, which is a vegan, animal cruelty-free makeup brand. It’s known for its bold, colorful products like its eye paint.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has plenty of iconic looks, so it makes perfect sense that she would have her own makeup line, HAUS LABS, which was founded in 2019. Like Halsey’s brand, this one is also vegan and cruelty-free. It won Best New Brand at the 2020 Allure Readers’ Choice Awards.
Becky G
Becky G launched Translúce Beauty in 2021, with product names and ingredients like blue agave that celebrate her Latinx heritage.
