It's no secret that the world is head over heels for Adele. The singer is known for her powerful voice, her infectious laughter, and her ability to remain so down to earth despite reaching such a successful platform. Those 3 qualities are enough to make her one of the most outstanding musical artists of our generation.
Her weight loss journey has made countless headlines over the past year or 2 - but after her latest SNL teaser, people can't stop talking about something else altogether... her accent.
Adele has recently stunned us all.
via: GettyAnd no, this time it wasn't with a dramatic change in appearance, even though that was an extra bonus factor.
While appearing on SNL, she was catapulted into roles we've never seen her in...
via: GettyThis includes a host, a Bachelorette, and an American woman... yes, you read that right.
Her accent, in particular, has gained a lot of attention from fans.
via: GettyEven though the singer has recently been in the spotlight for her entirely new look, her accent game has taken center stage. And we've got the video to prove it.
So yeah, the rumors might be true that she's put her music career on hold for a while...
via: GettyBut that doesn't mean we're not being supplied with the Adele-content we've been asking for.
But don't worry, she'll be back to doing what she does best in no time...
via: Getty ImagesA British born and bred singer with the ability to stun audiences with her powerful voice, Adele is known for bringing back the "classic ballad" to the music industry.
The first of her hits to enter the Billboard Hot 100 was "Chasing Pavements."
Then followed her debut album, 19.
And things only went up from there...After taking a break to focus on her personal life in 2012, Adele returned back to the scene with her sensational hit "Hello."
And that became the song of the year in 2015.
via: Getty ImagesShortly after, she released her next album, 25, which featured iconic songs such as "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)." If you haven't listened to that album, please do yourself a favor and add it to your playlist. You will not be disappointed.
Now, the singer has sold millions of songs worldwide...
via: Getty ImagesHer list of achievements is outstanding, to say the least. Adele has fifteen Grammys as well as an Oscar tucked nicely under her belt and the list is expected to grow as rumors of her next album have sparked fans.
But her successes aren't the only things that fans are talking about...According to the word on the street (also known as Twitter), Adele has undergone one of the most amazing transformations they have ever seen.
The singer was spotted at Drake's birthday bash last October...

She is typically known for her stripped back, casual style of dressing...
Adele has always been gorgeous, but she often spoke out about how she wasn't happy with her body.
A source told The Sun this back in October...
"She has been loving her new workout regime and it really works for her."
Due to her weight loss, her mental health has improved too.
But it's safe to say...That Adele is looking better than ever.
But Adele's journey is still going on.
From this classic black number...

To this spooky yet stunning costume...

However, besides her new look, there's one other thing that people just can't stop talking about.
via: GettyHer American accent.
During a promo segment, Adele stood alongside the amazing singer and producer, H.E.R, and SNL actress, Kate McKinnon.
via: GettyAs the 3 banded together to release a teaser for the show.
And while filming, McKinnon decided she was going to try out Adele's British accent...
via: TwitterAdele was in the middle of encouraging fans of the show to make sure they tune in but in honor of her London accent, McKinnon decided she would try one out for size, saying the show was "fit to be wicked" (it's basically a term that means "it's going to be great"... I think) in a weird wannabe British accent.
But yeah, it didn't go as well as she hoped...
via: TwitterBut while reeling from the embarrassment, Adele jumped in to save her by trying out her American accent which was a combination of a lot of locations... But it was great.
Everyone seemed to love it:
