Now, Kanye went on to gain a reputation as a solo artist…

Releasing a number of wildly popular albums, such as My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo, Ye, Jesus is King, and most recently, Donda.

He has also made a name for himself in the world of fashion.

The musician forced his way into the industry in 2004 and again in 2011, but it was his proposition in 2015 for Yeezy Season 1 with Adidas that really shifted the conversation and ultimately left a mark on the industry.

Yet despite all of this success, in 2015, the rapper revealed that he was experiencing some major financial struggles.

He told BET that he was $16 million in debt, and said a year later that he owed $53 million and asked Facebook Inc. founder Mark Zuckerberg to invest in him.

However, Kanye has always been optimistic that his fortune will one day take a turn for the better.

In 2013 he foretold The New York Times: “I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus.”

So, with this confidence tiding him along smoothly, Kanye later began dabbling in the world of politics.

In 2018, Kanye, who is an avid Trump supporter, sat down with the then-president in the Oval Office where he proclaimed his support and declared Trump a “hero” in a bizarre, rambling televised monologue that spawned myriad parodies.

But, on July 4th, 2020, he took things to the next level.

Taking to Twitter, Kanye wrote: “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020Vision.”

Of course…

Nobody ever thought that he’d actually do it.

But, regardless of the haters, the rapper was deadset on his “2020 vision”…

And in July of that year, he hosted his first-ever campaign rally.

However, it was an extremely alarming experience.

Kanye, who was clad in a bullet-proof vest with the numbers “2020” shaved into his head, threw his rally in Charleston, South Carolina, where he seemed to whip up various policy decisions right there on the spot, including humiliating his wife and family in the process.

His then-wife, Kim Kardashian, was later forced to address Kanye’s erratic behavior.

She posted a lengthy Instagram story explaining how difficult it is to live with bipolar disorder – a condition Kanye was diagnosed with back in 2016 – and how she will do anything to protect her husband and her children.

It was an understandably difficult time for Kanye and his family…

So his supporters weren’t surprised when he stepped down from his campaign to take some time to reconcile.

But that didn’t keep Kanye from running for some kind of president…

On the official ballot cards, Kanye Omari West was listed as the Vice President for the American Independent Party.

Remarkably, some people actually voted for Kanye…

Including Kanye himself.

Yep, in perhaps the most Kanye West move of 2020, the rapper took to Twitter to reveal that he had voted for someone he “truly trusts” – himself.

Of course, Kanye didn’t win the 2020 election…

And sadly, following that, things went from bad to worse for the rapper as it was confirmed that he and Kim were getting divorced.

It’s safe to say, the past few years seem to have been a difficult time for Kanye.

But it seems he has hope for the future!

Since then, Kanye’s been on social media, displaying erratic behavior.

A couple of weeks ago, Kanye made a recent attack on his children’s school.

He made the atrocious comment about school shootings, attacking Boosie Badazz called him out over the controversial ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt.

“DON’T SPEAK ON ME LIL BOOSIE SPEAK TO ME YEAH LITTLE NERD ASS ME COME SMACK ME OR COME SHOOT ME IM THE ONE THAT GOT BULLIED BY THE ENTIRE BLACK CELEBRITY COMMUNITY NO IM BACK TO SHOOT THE SCHOOL UP,” Kanye wrote on his Instagram page.

Sources told TMZ that the school Kim and Kanye’s children attend has hired additional security for precaution, and Kim has been using her own money from her pocket to help with the school security.

However, the security wasn’t necessarily worried that Kanye posed a threat to the school…

But others, who might’ve seen the comment and come into campus, posing a threat to the students.

His ex-wife wasn’t the only one receiving attacks from Kanye.

But Bieber was also getting a similar treatment.

Sources close to Justin and Hailey told TMZ that Kanye’s attacks hurt them because the duo was there for the rapper when he was going through a tough time in his life back in 2020, and they even traveled to Wyoming to visit him at his ranch.

The source further revealed that both of them believe Kanye crossed the line, mainly because Hailey never attacked him in her defense of Gabriella…

While she said supportive things about her friend after Kanye publicly ripped into her, Hailey also confessed she’s never had a nose job.

Kanye’s friends also opened up about the rapper’s erratic behavior…

Claiming he’s going through a mental breakdown.

Sources told Page Six that they believe this is the most severe episode he’s gone through.

  via Getty Images

They also claimed he’s not sleeping, which is similar to the issue he had when he was hospitalized in 2016.

Insiders shared that this all began when he fired his publicist for his Paris fashion show a week before the event and did a total 360 on his plans…

At the last minute, he decided to put together the controversial ‘White Lives Matter’ theme, which has since been plastered all over headlines.

He has also allegedly been firing his team left right and center if they so much as disagree with him.

  via Getty Images

It has been reported that he is also focusing on a second presidential run in 2024.

Kanye has been hospitalized twice before in 2016 and in 2019 over mental health concerns.

His friends are seemingly struggling to get through to the rapper, who suffers from bipolar disorder.

However, during an interview on Tucker Carlson Tonight, Kanye opened up…

  via Getty Images

And said that his feelings get hurt whenever people call him “crazy.”

“They keep on using the ‘Oh he’s crazy, he’s crazy’ thing. And it hurts my feelings when people say that.

  via Getty Images

“It hurts my feelings that people can ask, ‘Hey, are you OK?'” he said.

After Kanye’s ongoing rants on social media…

Major talent agencies dropped the rapper following his antisemitic comments.

CAA, which represented the rapper since 2016, came to the conclusion of ending their relationship with West after his continuous outburst and remarks.

As well as CAA canceling Kanye, it’s been reported by Variety that MRC studio executives announced in an internal memo that their relationship with Kanye will be cut, due to his antisemitic comments.

“This morning, after discussion with our filmmakers and distribution partners, we made the decision not to proceed with any distribution for our recently completed documentary about Kanye West. We cannot support any content that amplifies his platform,” the memo stated.

“Kanye is a producer and sampler of music. Last week he sampled and remixed a classic tune that has charted for over 3,000 years — the lie that Jews are evil and conspire to control the world for their own gain.”

CAA and MRC are just a few companies that cut ties with Kanye.

Balenciaga, Gap, and Vogue have also cut ties with the rapper.

Another company to join the list was Adidas.

The company released a statement, saying: “it does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” which they followed up on his recent comments, saying it’s “unacceptable, hateful and dangerous.”

Productions and sales came to a halt for the rapper’s Yeezy brand.

However, Adidas has now decided to keep production flowing for the Yeezy products.

However, according to Insider, it will be under a different brand.

On Tuesday, Adidas announced they were still willing to sell the product as of early 2023.

Adidas emphasized to their shareholders that the company still have the rights to all Yeezy product and that they still can and will sell them despite their relationship with Kanye being terminated.

The company also shared some scary financial numbers, saying they’re expected to lose up to half a billion dollars in annual revenue as a result of them cutting ties with Kanye.

Previously, execs have said the company has taken a massive $247 million hit, as per TMZ.
