Whether you're looking for just a bit of fun or something a little bit more serious, Tinder has something for everyone!

But sometimes...

The choice that the app provides can be a little bit too much!

And even if you do feel you've matched with "the one"...

They could be living hundreds of miles away, making the exciting moment of meeting up with them very difficult.

Well, one couple experienced this a few years ago...

And it was all thanks to Tinder that they finally met after 3 years of talking online!

Twenty-two-year-old Josh Avsec matched with twenty-one-year-old Michelle Arendas back in September 2014.

Josh, who now works as a zoologist, swiped right to Michelle and dropped her a message.

The pair, who both attended Kent State University, hit it off immediately...

And they were chatting for several days after matching.

But due to their busy schedules...

The pair would reply on and off within a few months of one another.

They would each go several months without talking...

And they'd then pop up again, giving them both legitimate excuses for the delay in their meeting.

Unbelievably, this went on for 3 years...

And when Josh decided to tweet about it, Tinder spotted his unique story.

The dating app decided that this couple just had to meet...

And in 2017, they tweeted: "It’s time you got together IRL. You have 24 hrs to decide the city you want to have your first date in and we’ll send you there!"

The tweet totally erupted online...

And people were rooting for the couple to respond so they could finally meet!

Well, the dating app stuck to its word...

And with the help of Good Morning America, Tinder complied with Josh and Michelle's request of meeting in Hawaii and organized it straight away.

But before they jetted off to sunny Maui, GMA organized for Josh and Michelle to meet for the very first time on national television.

Yep, sitting between a screen, the pair talked about their 3-year texting relationship before being finally unveiled to one another.

Before meeting, the couple were each asked generic questions...

Such as, "What's your favorite junk food?" and "What would your ideal first date be?" - to which both Josh and Michelle seemed to agree on a lot of things!

And when the time came for Josh and Michelle to see each other for the first time?

Well, anticipation was high, to say the least!

The moment they set eyes on each other, both Josh and Michelle burst out laughing...

And they immediately gave each other a huge hug, which was the cutest thing!

They both seemed overwhelmed...

And Josh said, "This is a dream come true. I can’t believe I’m seeing her right now."

Well, the pair jetted off to Maui shortly after their TV debut...

And it looked like they had an amazing time!

Even though it is currently unknown as to whether Josh and Michelle are still together...
