We've all seen the headlines before surrounding women who haven't been allowed to board their flight due to wearing something "too revealing," while claiming their male counterparts can get away with wearing even less.

Many have put this down to people trying to "police" women's bodies.

And it's regularly called out on social media.

This week appears to be no exception...

And it's conjured up quite a response on social media.

A woman says she was forced to change her top before boarding her flight.

And she was not happy about it.

The internet had a lot to say on the incident...

Isabelle shared her ordeal in an Instagram story.

"She kept going and she was, like, 'Well, you can't fly with what you're wearing, you can't wear a bikini'. And I'm like, 'Look - it's not a bikini, it's a top'."

The airline has since released a statement to Mirror, saying "We've contacted Isabelle about her recent experience and have apologized for the way the situation was handled."

"There was a misunderstanding of what our policy was, and we have reminded our crew of our dress requirements. While we do have basic dress requirements on our flights, for example shoes, we do not have any policy regarding crop tops."

Here's the outfit that caused all the fuss ...
