The star has been a beloved actor and comedian for decades, first gaining recognition by appearing on the sixth and seventh seasons of Knots Landing in 1984.

Since then, his career has lasted the test of time, receiving accolades including three Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards as well as nominations for a Academy Award and Tony Award.

Unfortunately, his public image has taken a nose dive over the course of the past couple years.

Most notably, Baldwin drew a lot of criticism after an incident on the set of his film, Rust, in 2021.

While making the film, Baldwin discharged a revolver used as a prop, which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

He was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in Santa Fe County, New Mexico in January 2023, but the charges were dropped in April 2023 pending further investigation.

According to reports from the New York Times in October, a grand jury in New Mexico will consider whether to refile an involuntary manslaughter charge against the actor.

Over the last couple years, the 30 Rock star has repeatedly denied responsibility for the tragedy.

Still, the prosecutors who originally brought charges against Baldwin accused him in court papers of “extremely reckless acts” and maintained that he pulled the trigger on the gun.

Alec has always denied pulling the trigger, saying that the gun discharged after he pulled the hammer back and released it.

There were at least two accidental gun discharges on the set on Oct. 16, just days before the fatal shooting, according to three former members of the film’s crew.

Since this incident, Baldwin has lost his fair share of fans, and the public perception of him has taken quite the nose dive.

On Monday, the actor was berated by anti-Israel protesters after hundreds of them flooded into Penn Station and Grand Central Station in New York City.

Baldwin was walking by the demonstration near West 29th Street when protesters spotted him and ran toward him, accusing him of supporting Israel.

Because of all the commotion, NYPD officers needed to escort the actor–but he had no problem shouting back at the protesters.

“Shut your f***ing mouth, you have no f***ing shame,” one man shouted at Baldwin.

When he was asked if he condemned Israel, the star replied, “No, I support peace for Gaza.”

“Go f**k yourself,” the man yelled in reply.

“You ask stupid questions,” Baldwin could be heard telling one of the protestors. “Ask me a smart question, and I’ll answer your question.”

The heated confrontation ended when Baldwin was able to get through the door he was waiting in front of.

“Your career’s tanking, by the way,” one man yelled to the actor as the door shut.

A source close to Baldwin told the Messenger that the actor and comedian was “aggressively” approached while attempting to volunteer his skills.

“Alec was on his way to volunteer to teach an acting class. He had no intention of going to the protest and was not involved in any way,” the source said.

“He was approached aggressively and repeatedly,” they continued. “The police stepped in to avoid further confrontation so he could make his way to the class safely.”

The spirited back-and-forth came shortly after demonstrators found their way into Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station.

Cops initially stopped their efforts to enter by putting up barricades around the entrances of the massive train station, which blocked actual riders from entering.

As protesters circled outside Moynihan, an organizer urged their fellow protesters to “find a way in.”

“We need to outrun these piggies,” the organizer said before hordes of demonstrators rushed the train hall.

They went on to chant “Cease-fire now” while running through the hall.

After waving Palestinian flags and demonstrating in the middle of the hall, protesters made their way back into the street, where at least one male was arrested.
