Until her real acting experience came when she landed the role of Lucy Montgomery in the soap opera As the World Turns. Seyfried then moved on to another soap, All My Children, where she played Joni Stafford for 2 years.

While that role came to an end, Seyfried auditioned to be a ‘Plastic’ in the movie Mean Girls.

Reportedly, the producers of the movie then considered her to play the lead Cady Heron. But Lindsey Lohan eventually won that role.

Sadoski told James Cordon on The Late Late Show: “We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other.”

But that’s not all…

Seyfried admitted to Net-A-Porter that they first met on the sets of the play and both of them were in “bad relationships.”

She said that they were friends and, “never flirted, never disrespected his wife,” and she admitted it was another reason why she thought that she could marry him.

She also said that when their relationship both ended, Seyfried suggested that Sadoski should be her love interest in The Last Word, which is where their relationship blossomed.

“It was amazing. It felt healthy and freeing and clean. We can tell the story without any guilt,” Seyfried said.

Back in March 2020, Seyfried and Sadoski celebrated their 3-year wedding anniversary with some Instagram PDA.

“Happy 3, Tommy,” Amanda wrote. “Goat wrangling is far easier and way more fun when we do it together. 💞”

And then in September 2020, Seyfried announced the birth of her second child on Instagram, despite fans not knowing the actress was pregnant.

In the movie, there was one scene that involved a boy predicting the weather by touching her breasts.

Seyfried then opened up about her relationship with fame, telling the magazine that rain comments aside she preferred being just somewhat recognizable as a young actor.

“I think being really famous [young] must really f**king suck,” she said.

“It must make you feel completely unsafe in the world. I see these younger actors who think they have to have security. They think they have to have an assistant. They think their whole world has changed. It can get stressful. I’ve seen it happen to my peers. So I bought a farm. I was like, Let’s go in the opposite way,” Seyfried added.
