It's no secret that our delivery workers are horribly overworked with the influx of online shopping orders this time of the year - Many are forced to work extra hours over the festive period, and seldom get to spend much time with their own families.

Well, one woman decided to spread a little bit of Christmas cheer to the workers delivering parcels to her house, and a hidden camera caught the heartwarming reaction of an Amazon Prime worker, who literally couldn't contain his joy over the kind gesture.

Yep, the time for giving is officially here, and most of us are frantically trying to complete our Christmas shopping before the big day.

It's truly the most wonderful time of the year...

And many of us are looking forward to spending a well-deserved break with our friends and family.

Yet, while the festive period is a time of fun and joy for most of us...

For delivery workers, it is usually a time of long shifts, stress, and complete chaos.

Christmas wouldn't be possible without the hard graft of our delivery workers.

Over December, there is an influx of online shopping orders as people across the country frantically get their Christmas shopping done at the very last minute (guilty...).

And, believe it or not, it isn't Father Christmas who delivers your parcels...

It's a delivery worker who is likely to be exhausted and incredibly overworked.

It can be easy to forget about our delivery workers at this time of the year...

Many in which don't get to spend much time with their own families because of their busy work schedules.

Well, one woman couldn't stop thinking about this...

And, with it being the time for giving, she decided to give a little something back.

Kathy Ouma was incredibly grateful for all their hard work over the festive period...

So she decided to leave out a little hamper of sweet treats for every delivery worker who delivered a parcel to her house in Middletown, Delaware.

She left out a basket of candy, sweet treats, cans of soda, and bottles of water...

Along with a note that read, "UPS, USPS, AMAZON, FEDEX. Please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thank you for making holiday shopping so easy. The Ouma Family."

And, luckily...

Kathy had a camera hidden in her porch, so the incredibly heartwarming reaction of one unsuspecting Amazon Prime delivery worker was captured perfectly.

The man can be seen walking up to the front door holding 2 parcels...

And he immediately spots the thoughtful gesture to his right-hand side.

He approaches the hamper...

And when he realizes what it is, he shouts out loud, "Oh, this is nice!" while waving his hands out in disbelief.

The excited worker bends over to inspect the hamper further...

And he can be heard saying "Ah! They got some goodies! Wow!"

He then gingerly picks out a couple of items...

All while commenting to himself, "Wow! Oh, this is sweet! Wow, get out of here!"

He takes his time to choose a couple of items...

The grateful worker can be seen helping himself to a bottle of water and a couple of packets of candy, before walking away.

But the best part is yet to come...

As he walks back to his van, he breaks into the cutest happy dance.

The worker dances all the way back to his van, drinks and goodies in hand.

After discovering the footage, Kathy shared it to her Facebook page...

In which she wrote, "THIS! Made my day! I leave goodies out every year. Middletown, Delaware. #AmazonPrime"

Initially, the identity of the delivery worker was unknown...

But after the video went viral and gained over 2 million views, Kathy updated her post by writing, "Updated: The driver is Karim Earl Reed III - You are bringing millions of people joy!" And Reed himself reached out to Kathy, writing: "I'm glad I could make you smile that day with this one. The thing about it is I forgot to bring my lunch that day and I wasn't feeling good, until I got to your house and seen [sic] the snacks. May the Divine Bless you always for your kindness."
