Actress Andie Macdowell recently flaunted her new look and it has left people stunned.
The sixty-four-year-old actress slipped into a feather-trimmed gown with a daring thigh-high leg-split on the catwalk for the L’Oreal Paris Fashion Week event.
According to the Daily Mail, the actress teamed her outfit with a heavily beaded number with a pair of metallic stiletto heels to elongate her toned legs.
She reportedly walked the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week alongside Eva Longoria and Gemma Chan.
Talking to The Times in a recent interview, the actress explained her relief over the positive response she received for embracing a grey-haired look.
“I was relieved people weren’t cruel. They could have been mean to me. But everybody was very loving and kind and I was relieved because I really like it. I feel more comfortable,” she told the news outlet.
Macdowell also detailed that she took the plunge despite being told not to make the change, as people around her “strongly advised against it.”
“People kept saying to me, ‘It’s not time,’ but I disagreed. I was kowtowing to everybody else’s beliefs, but I truly want to be where I am and look my age,” she confessed.
Back in 2021 when Macdowll debuted the salt and pepper look hair, she explained that her daughters even thought she looked like a “bada**”
She even went ahead and said she’s embraced aging gracefully, but then admitted to considering cosmetic surgery on her droopy eyelids, then decided against it when a facialist dubbed them “perfect.”
“Don’t look at yourself in a bad light… I just don’t have very many mirrors around. The ones in my bathrooms all have great lighting,” she said.
